War Hero Poem...

Picture

It’s all about redemption isn’t it? Well…isn’t it? Don’t all war hero’s make things right? Isn’t it the hero’s job to overcome tyranny, rescue the perishing and redeem the day for freedom? Don’t all wars require someone to be on point, lead the charge and end the struggle? To get a hero’s medal, someone has to grab the flag…champion the cause…make the difference. So what’s the mystery here; rather what’s the question here?
Who will go…Who will be the War Hero?

We all know there’s a war going on. We read it in every newspaper…
Hear it in every story that’s told…
See it in every movie that is produced…
Find it at the core of every plot of every book ever written…

Yet this war is different. This war is personal. This war is yours alone. This is your war story and every story
needs a hero.

YES, I am talking about YOUR War here - the one that presses in on you.  Feel the oppression!
The War every man must fight every day: 24/7/365 - Nothing worthwhile is ever easy.

There is so much conflict in your story…Why is it so hard to be a hero?
You are the lead among the characters in your story…and the plot thickens.

We all know about this celestial war…Good vs. Evil.

To be or not to be is no longer the question. Being is not enough anymore. You must do something.
You are here…it is now…and the new question is: To do or not to do?

How does your story play out in the scheme of things?
Only you can answer that question…It’s your story.
You’re the man…and your story still needs a hero.
Do you have “the right stuff”…to be…a hero?
…to do…the right thing…always?

Remember: Doing things right is not good enough anymore…not for the war hero.
Doing right things is a hero’s paradigm.

Listen up…hear the voice of ‘El Capitan…

You are not alone, but the choice is yours alone.
Wade deep into the River of Mercy…
Put on the Whole Armor of Righteousness…
Lift high the sword of Power and Light…
It is time to step up Hero.

It is time to slay the dragon!

Of course you are afraid! You would be a fool if you were not afraid…
You are going into battle against amoral and greedy mortals & systems that seek your demise. You are going into battle against the legions of fallen celestial beings.

You are going into battle against the Evil One.

Can you see it? Do you get the picture? You will write the ending to your story Hero. How will the battle end?

And then you hear again His voice…the voice of ‘El Capitan:

Fear is O.K. but Failure is not an option. I AM with                                                                                                  you…I will never leave you or forsake you.

I too felt fear on my journey but…

                                                                Hero’s push through.
                                                           Hero’s persevere.
                                                       Hero’s find a way.

Yes, I know that you think you are an unlikely Hero, but your story must have a Hero…

Of course, there is the other alternative…your life can simply become another Power Point presentation.   Another fact sheet. Another bullet point in the corporate database.

Is that what you want? Is that what you are asking for?

No? THEN TELL IT CLEAR HERO!

Tell it often and always put it into the context of…
My story; My Passion is fulfilled only when your story has a Hero.

It is time now.

Be the Hero!
Be the man!
Take the Point!
Fight your war…grab your sword…slay your dragon!

And don’t forget to remember who you are and whose you are.
Win your war and then, and only then - you can come home…a Hero.
Let’s roll!!

                                       <><><><><><><><>

And now the long war rages…stay focused.
And don’t forget to remember who leads your mission:

I AM your compass point…your true North – Follow Me!

Renew your mind…and you will be transformed.
Sharpen your vision…gain eyes that see and ears that hear.
Listen again and always to His voice:

Your course is right… The Evil One can be defeated.

The evil One must be defeated!

Together we can…together we will.

      I’ve got your back!

And then at last…it is quiet…daybreak is at hand…battles all won…and beauty surrounds you.

Y
ou are going home…and then, in person, you see the face of ‘El Capitan.\ It is Jesus…and He speaks:

Welcome HOME Hero…welcome to the place that you knew was right from the start.  Welcome home soldier.

Sit here beside me…let me heal your wounded head and heart.  Well done Hero.. Your family is safe, your lady is proud and I am well pleased.

I have designed your eternal home for you…your forever place to be.
I have your new orders…your new duty assignment will be here in the Homeland.

By the way Hero, I want to tell you something very special… I need to tell you your new name. I selected it before the beginning and have secretly
Held it close to my heart just for this moment...

                                               Your Homecoming.

But First, Please tell me your story again. I Love Your Story Hero!
I especially love the parts that forever link your story with mine.

Take your time Hero, there’s no rush – we have all of eternity to become
Even closer than a brother.

One last thing Hero…It’s O.K. to cry now.
It is always O.K. to cry here because…
You are with family and this is your Heavenly Home.
                                                “I love You Hero…

And I love being your King!”
